DicroSlide Product Instructions
Below are the manufacturer's instructions that come with each DicroSlide package.
These instructions are written for glass fusing.

SUPPLY LIST:
- Cut & cleaned pieces of same COE glass in black, clear, and/or assorted colors of various sizes.
- A shallow water container (try a plastic plate).
- Clean water and paper towels. Distilled water is recommended! (Tap water can contain trace metals which may change DicroSlide results.)
- Scissors and paper punches in a variety of shapes
- Wooden skewers (6") for moving and positioning DicroSlide on glass. Small, fine texture sponge to smooth out air bubbles.
- Long-handled tweezers. Use these carefully, as they may mark the dichroic coating.
- Cut or punch DicroSlide into desired shapes and sizes.
- Soak the DicroSlide pieces in 1/4" to 1/2" water for 1 to 2 minutes. Large pieces take longer than small ones.
- Remove DicroSlide from water, gently blot excess water on paper towel.
- Carefully slide and position DicroSlide on glass. (It is stronger than it looks.) If DicroSlide does not release easily, return to water and soak a little longer.
- Try layering glass & DicroSlide. (When layering DicroSlide on itself, be sure to cover with clear glass!) Experiment, use your imagination, and have fun!
- Fuse using your preferred firing schedule.
NOTE:
- DicroSlide is compatible with any COE glass
- DicroSlide works well uncapped, but like all genuine dichroic, does not fuse to itself or against other metals. It can be used directly on dichroic, iridized, or any glass with a metallic layer, but MUST be covered with clear glass.
- Store DicroSlide so coated sides of dichroic paper are not in contact with other coated dichroic paper surfaces.
